The Art of Community

Serving the community for nearly eight decades, West Dallas Community Centers collaborated with Big Thought to serve over 600 kids as a cultural art after school program. This collaboration resulted in children having a balanced education and a better understanding of themselves through the arts. They learn academically through dance, writing, music and theatre, never before available to them. These activities reinforce core academic skills to help children enrich their education.
