Each year the Park Cities 4th of July Parade is a can't-miss tradition for residents and visitors alike. With more than 100 floats each year, it's an American classic. The parade begins near Highland Park Town Hall and ends at Goar Park followed by a community-wide party.
4th of July is possibly the most community involved day in the Park Cities. This year the crowd is expected to be as large as 10,000 people. This will be the 8th annual parade thanks to the devoted members of the Park Cities Rotary Club. After enjoying the parade (which begins at 9:30 a.m.), waving and collecting handfuls of candy, people will head over to Goar Park to for a festival including music, food and entertainment for all ages.
