Two undefeated teams took the field at Highlander Stadium, and for the first three quarters, it was a back and forth, with each team answering the other with score after score. Jabari Anderson carried the Wylie East offense, with a whopping 314 yards rushing and 3 TDs. In the final chapter, Highland Park pulled away with a 30-point fourth quarter to win convincingly, 58-30. For the Scots, QB Brady Burgin had his best game of the season, completing 25 of 34 passes for 350 yards and 5 TDs; receiver William Morris caught three TD passes and runningback Preston Miller scored three more to lead an offense that racked up 491 yards.
