Highland Park's legendary football program added to its bulging trophy case on Friday with a lopsided victory over Frisco Liberty at Tom Kimbrough Stadium near Plano. The potent Scot offense rolled with 371 yards and six touchdowns, and the HP defense did not allow a point until late in the 3rd quarter.

Quarterback Brady Burgin was accurate as always, hitting 70 percent of his passes for 244 yards and a TD. Eight different receivers caught passes: William Morris (7 for 114 yds and 1 TD); Charles Hubbard, Anthony Vallera, Will Guerriero, Matt Bannon, Jack Campbell, Preston Miller and Hunter Halpin. On the ground, Preston Miller and Jackson Hauser each ran for two scores, while junior runningback Rob Williams added a TD. Hayden Greer, who has played brilliantly in the defensive secondary, intercepted a pass from Frisco QB Zach Smith and returned it 35 yards for a score. Nick Rose is money in the kicking game and he hit a 36-yard FG that was a dagger at halftime.

Highland Park moves on to play Woodrow Wilson on Friday at Lake Highlands' WIldcat Stadium.
