The Dallas Green Festival is an event put on by the City of Dallas.  It was hosted this year by Texas Discovery Gardens in Fair Park on a beautiful Saturday, where many vendors promoted their green products and campaigns.  An entire section of the park was set aside for kids for activities such as relay races, face painting, and make-your-own terrarium. Live chickens, a beekeeper, the butterfly house, and a live demonstration of converting used vegetable oil into biodiesel were some of the many attractions found at the festival.
