Cameron Ernst has the uncanny ability to get stuck in a person’s head. A local Dallas musician, Cameron has a few EPs to his name, including his most recent EP ‘Focus On the Road’. At Opening Bell Coffee in the Cedars neighborhood, he explains his passion for songwriting and his inability to sit at a desk as a 9-5er; he prefers connecting with people and moving people through his music. The USC graduate tells us what it is like to be a Dallas musician, saying, “There’s something exciting happening here.”
Cameron’s talent has even reached as far as MTV with MTV Act declaring the YouPlusDallas music video for his original song ‘Love is Louder’ worthy of a VMA for Best Viral Video With a Message – if only there were such a category.
