A Mother's Letter by Pho Pictures

A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world.

A Mother's Letter is a heart-wrenching narration of a mother longing for a return of the child she once knew.  The imagery shows the juxtaposition between the little girl remembered, and the troubled youth taking the wrong path.  The mother isn't sure where she lost her daughter, or exactly where she started to go astray.  The mother also wonders if she is somehow at fault, and prays that somehow she can get back the happy girl she remembers back into her life.

As parents, we take joy in watching our children grow up.  Yet in the backs of our minds, we are troubled by the dangers they have yet to encounter.  We want to protect them from getting hurt, but at the same time, we have to prepare them to overcome hurdles and follow a better path.  One of a parent's toughest jobs is to let our children go, allowing them to become the person they are destined to be, and hope we have done a good job pointing them in the right direction.
