I must have been living under a rock all these years, because I didn’t discover what Nutella was until about 365 days ago. We didn’t spread it on our toast or coat our fruit in it growing up, so I didn’t know the sweet, sweet goodness of it until I attended the U.S. Open in Flushing, New York. Instead of the usual artery-clogging concessions, there was a crepe booth. Crepes! How could I deny myself a fruit-filled crepe whilst cheering on my dear Federer? What sealed the deal, however, was the Nutella-filled sweetness that was smeared heavy-handed in my crepe. I was pretty sure I’d reached nirvana.
