Grimaldi’s Pizzeria in West Village

With an intimate atmosphere and an authentic New York feel, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria in West Village was the perfect place for the YouPlusDallas crew to celebrate our recent Dallas Observer ‘Best Of’ Awards. The menu features your typical pizzeria fare, but these pies are set apart by the water used to make the dough. Each Grimaldi’s location has a New York water pump that has the same mineral makeup as the water found in the Big Apple. This special ingredient gives the taste of authentic New York pizza.

Well, the weather is finally cooling down and October is upon us. Buckets full of candy for the kids in costume, and buckets full of beer for the adults in costume. Absinthe Makes the Mind Go Wander!

The green goddess aka absinthe strikes us with notes of dark, sultry lustfullness. It conjurs up imagery of smokey turn-of-the-century French cafe’s, filled with artists and poets, sipping on opalescent green liquid while drifiting in and out of lucidness. Absinthe has seen a recent rise in popularity and Dallas isn’t missing out on the trend.
