The 2016 OOCCL Neighborhood Grants Have Been Awarded!

The 2016 OOCCL Neighborhood Grants, totaling $19,639.54, have been awarded to the following neighborhoods –

Beckley Club Estates – Neighborhood Signs

Brettonwoods – Sign Toppers, Website Development, Postcard Mailers and Neighborhood T-Shirts

East Kessler – Curb Address Painting

El Tivoli – Insurance for Neighborhood Sign

Kidd Springs – Sign Toppers

L.O. Daniel – Sidewalk Repair, Website Hosting

Steven’s Park Estates – Water Fountain for Annie Stevens Park

Sunset Hill – Sign Toppers, 501c3 Designation, Crime Watch Signs

West Kessler – Fountain

Winnetka – Sidewalk Repair, Spay/Neuter Clinic

Wynnewood Hills – Entry Sign

Wynnewood North – Mural, Printed Materials

2016 OOCCL Fall Home Tour is Previewing Homes

Each year the Old Oak Cliff Conservation League raises money through the annual Fall Home Tour to fund neighborhood and non-profit organizations’ projects.  The League has awarded $100,000 in grants in the last 5 years.

The 2016 Home Tour Selection Committee is now previewing homes for this year’s Fall Home Tour.  

This year’s tour will be on October 15th and 16th.  If you or someone you know is interested in having their home on this year’s tour contact Phil Leven at

OOCCL Monthly Meetings

Monthly meetings are held on the second Monday of every month. They begin promptly at 7 pm. They are generally held at La Calle Doce, located at 415 W. 12th street, in the conference room. Please be aware of the following exceptions –

The June 12th meeting will be held at the Turner House, 401 N. Rosemont

The September 12th meeting will be held at the TeCo (Bishop Arts) Theater, 215 S. Tyler

The December 12th meeting will be our Christmas Party. The location has yet to be determined. Stay Tuned! It’s always a great event.

June 11 / Local Hub Bike Shop / 12-5pm

Come out to the Spring edition of the PhotoVelo scavenger hunt in Deep Ellum next weekend! It’s a free event, so bring your friends and get out on the town. There are bikes available to rent from Local Hub for the day, so don’t let that stop you from forming an unbeatable team. We’ll have some great prize packs for the top three teams, thanks to the generosity of Cold Beer Company, Alamo Drafthouse Dallas, Amsterdam Falafelshop Dallas,Rocket Fizz Deep Ellum, TX, Luscher’s Red Hots, Uncle Uber’s and others. We’ll also have some drinks from Braindead Brewing waiting to help cool off after the hunt! Invite your friends!
