Anna Kiappes reviews this short film about a young man washing his car who spontaneously offers an attractive woman a ride wherever she wants to go. Would you do that? Would you offer? I am a BIG fan of the ‘love at first sight’ scenario. The idea that all it takes is one second to lock eyes with that person and realize something special is there. I suppose this is a side effect of watching Disney Princess movies for the first five years of my life. As I have grown older and gone through a multitude of heartbreaks, I realize that ‘love at first sight’ can’t sustain a real relationship.
I mean, I know that a relationship needs more than just a spark; but I also thought said spark would be the light at the end of the tunnel. When things got tough, it would remind you and your partner of better times. (more…)
