You may be under the impression that it is impossible for running a 5K to ever be fun. Propelling one’s body forward for miles is no way to spend a morning. Unless you’re blasted with bright colors after completing each kilometer – now that’s worth it.
At the Color Run Dallas, participants are required to arrive at Fair Park dressed head to toe in white cothing (sounds a bit like hazing, doesn’t it?). They begin the run pristine; white clothes still smelling like freshly folded laundry, until the first kilometer is down, and the pack is pelted with bright yellow paint. Watch the video to see Dallasites run color to color and have a ball, completely covered in paint. The color run benefits the American Heart Association.
