The East Texas city of Tyler is synonymous with roses, and each fall the city celebrates its rich, colorful history with a week of wonderful parties, parades, luncheons and even a Queen's Tea. With the Tyler Rose Garden Center serving as the center point, last year's festival was one of the best ever. Filmmaker Jeff McWhorter of YouPlusMedia captured all the pageantry on a sunlit Saturday as the 2011 Parade lifted spirits and reminded us of the blessings of community — and the simple pleasure a flower brings.

The 2012 Texas Rose Festival Parade is October 18th-20th in Tyler Texas.
