We love our Texas Rangers. This year, the Rangers Home Opener will take place Friday, April 6, 2012 at 1:05pm CDT vs the Chicago White Sox. After two consecutive seasons as the ALCS Champions, we look forward to another amazing year of baseball Texas Rangers style.

Last year, more than 50,000 lucky fans showed up early for the historic 2011 Opening Day Game at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. "Lucky fans" because the team recived over 510,000 requests for tickets after their trip to the World Series last season! Former Rangers pitching great Charlie Hough threw out the first pitch and former president George W. Bush and wife Laura led cheers for the home team.

All around it was a great day for Texas baseball and the Texas Rangers as they kicked off the season with a victory over the Boston Red Sox. People were dancing in the stands. This is arguably the greatest team Arlington has ever had, and they are well on their way to making history.

Thank you Texas Rangers for a fantastic seasons the last two years and taking us to the 2010 and 2011 World Series. Cheers to this year shaping up to be even better as America's favorite pastime focuses on Dallas.
