TAP Uptown Founder Phil Ogilvie, along with Fellowship Dallas and the local music scene, created a series called TAP where they venture to different neighborhoods in Dallas to bring “music and service on purpose” to the community. The Uptown neighborhood is the first neighborhood in the TAP installment. Each Tuesday at 8pm for 5 weeks, live music was provided by local bands such as Smile Smile, The O’s and the Trophy Wives at St. John’s Wood in Uptown. The “service” portion of TAP Uptown took place at North Dallas High School, partnering with Big Brothers and Sisters. TAP Uptown builds a community that doesn’t focus on itself – it gives back.
