Dallas recently hosted the inaugural PARK(ing) Day Dallas, an event that temporarily turned metered parking spots into public parks for the public to enjoy. The movement began in San Francisco in 2005, and the event has spread around the world to 30 different countries. PARKing Day Co-Organizers James Warton and Noah Jeppson tell us how they hope this event will help our city leaders to see public spaces in new ways and look to the revitalization of the city. We are fortunate to live in a city full of creative, innovative people.
