“Welcome to Cowboys Stadium, here are your Dallas Cowboys,” says the calm, knowing voice of America’s team upon entry to Jerry Jones’s new stadium. Roger Emrich, the afternoon drive sports anchor for CBS Radio’s KRLD 1080 AM and 105.3 The Fan, is the new public address announcer of Cowboys Stadium. Growing up in New Orleans, he watched the first Super Bowl at a young age. An AFL fan back then, he knew even at 10 years old, what he wanted to accomplish for his career goal. In this video, Emrich tells YouPlusDallas about his first media job, the audition for the job of his dreams, and life at Jerry World. Catch him on the air from 2pm-7pm CST every afternoon.
