YouPlus Media had the wonderful opportunity to work with #JFKDAY on their campaign to support their Carry the Torch 5k benefitting The Special Olympics as well as their city-wide service project.

#JFKDAY is a county wide day of service honoring the legacy of President John F. Kennedy on the 50th anniversary of his assassination.

The #JFKDAY campaign: [Run, Serve, Remember] brings together, under a united front, a series of two events: a 5K run and a Day of Service. Citizens of North Texas will run in their community,
serve those in need in their community and remember the legacy of the man who originally called them to action. On November 23rd, 2013, the Day of Service, thousands of volunteers will participate in community service projects at over 50 cites across Dallas County. Many of Dallas' largest companies, civic organizations, and educational institutions will participate in #JFKDAY. The Honorary Chair for #JFKDAY is Blake Mycoskie, Founder & Chief Shoe Giver for TOMS.

#JFKDAY is a nonpartisan, citizen led initiative. Working together, the people and institutions of Dallas County can change the conversation about the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy Assassination and honor the legacy of President Kennedy through service. We believe that partnerships with community leaders are paramount to maximize our efforts and make the biggest possible impact. The #JFKDAY team stands on the fact that if a city is united together in service there really can be a difference made.
