Richardson Pearce mounted a big 4th quarter comeback, but it wasn't enough as Highland Park stayed in control for their annual Homecoming game at Highlander. On offense, the Scots had a very balanced attack with four rushing TDs (from Colin Stringer, Jake Howeth, and Preston Miller). Two juniors ”QB Brady Burgin and Dalton Stogner” hooked up for a 13-yard TD pass. The defense was incredibly solid, holding Area 4-A passing leader Mac Morse to just half his usual yardage.
