Under a sweltering afternoon sun, the 2011 Highland Park Baseball team played the national pastime at one of Major League Baseball's finest venues; The Ballpark at Arlington, home of the American League Champion Texas Rangers. Coach Fred Oliver got great performances out of every player. Starting pitcher Holt Perlman was dominating on the mound, and the batting highlight came when senior Ben McElroy launch a rocket more than 400 feet over the right centerfield fence for a truly big league home run! It was an awesome experience none of the players will every forget.
