The FortyFest Alternative Christian Music Festival is the result of the vision of several local businessmen and women as well as concerned parents who watch the news, hear stories, or see first hand the many influences that affect kids and young adults in today's society. The need for a positive influence is real and the organizers’ goal is to provide that with FortyFest.
The FortyFest Team is made up of volunteers and they have no full time paid staff. They put in the resources and time in addition to their day jobs. They have no political agenda, no church or denomination affiliation; just concerned parents and individuals who are doing what they can to make a little difference and maybe re-direct a few paths along the way.
FortyFest featured RED, Brian “Head” Welch, Decyfer Down, Emery, Pillar, Project 86, Oh Sleeper, The Letter Black, Wavorly, Runaway City, The Wedding and Don’t Wake Aislin.
