DFW Adult Baseball Association

For the 54 and over division of the DFW Adult Baseball Association, the team mantra is, “If you don’t play hurt, you don’t play.” The team emerges from the dugout wearing their baseball gear and glasses, as physical therapy sessions occur between innings. Tattoos, tobacco and tweaked hamstrings are standard fare for a day at the 54+ ballpark.    

At Lively Park in Irving, the players’ wives and families brave the heat to watch loved ones play their favorite sport. It’s all for the love of the game and feeling like a kid again.
