The American Heart Association has come a long way over the last 20 years. At this year's American Heart Association Heart Walk, area residents told their story about why it is so important to continue to raise money and how much it means to live as long as possible and to be with loved ones.  Thanks to millions of dollars in corporate and personal donations, advancements continue to be made and many hope for the day when we can beat heart disease.  Walking is like investing in your own Heart 401K, research has shown that for every hour you walk, you can add up to two hours to your life.  Invest in walking – it’s a sure thing!

Thank you to sponsors Frito Lay, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, HollyFrontier Corporation, Subway, ALON USA, The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital.
