I've been passionate about crafting software since 2001, starting professionaly in 2003 as a freelance web developer. Also worked for some local companies as a lead developer, having done my share of C#, a solid formation and background in the JEE and open source world and now fully advocated to agile methodologies since i fell deeply in love with Ruby on Rails in early 2008. Now i'm an enthusiast of TDD, agile practices and the Ruby language itself.
I've covered many roles from backend and frontend programming, project management and even client relations, always oriented to provide the most valuable possible to the customers and constantly seeking to improve processes and tools by permanently investigating and researching new technologies as well as staying up to date with the current ones.
In early 2009, my passion for agile methodologies and software craftmanship drove me to co-found WyeWorks (http://www.wyeworks.com), a software development group focused in agile methodologies and Ruby on Rails where i office as a consultant, senior web developer and team leader of several projects.
I'm a Rails Core Contributor and in my spare time i contribute to some other open source projects.
