It’s no secret that Lombardi restaurants are awesome, swanky and a Dallas staple. With a repertoire including Toulouse, Sangria and Penne Pomodoro; you know it’s gonna be good. I recently tried Taverna Pizzeria and Risottoria and will be the first to say, “It’s amore.”
I took a trip to the food-filled country of Italy in May and I’ve pretty much stayed away from Italian food since then. First off, it’s hard to compare American Italian to real Italian; and second, I was sick of it. So after a solid two months, I was ready to return to pastas, pizzas and heavy sauces.
