Stanley Korshak rocked Uptown last night at their annual Rock-N-Runway fashion show in the Crescent Court.

The event benefitted the Park at Woodall Rodgers which is expected to be complete in the early part of 2012. The 5.2-acre deck park will bring nature and serenity to Dallas and its visitors.

The park will be a sight to see, covering all 8 lanes of Woodall Rodgers Freeway (soon the be tunnel) and within walking distance of the cultural offerings from the Dallas Center for Performing Arts, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Morton Meyerson Symphony Hall, and the Nasher Sculpture Center to the Trammell & Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art, Booker T. Washington High School for the Visual and Performing Arts and the future Museum of Nature and Science.

The plans for the Park at Woodall Rodgers includes a performance pavilion, restaurant, walking trails, a dog park, a children’s discovery garden and playground, water features, an area for games and much more.

Stanley Korshak’s Rock-N-Runway helped support this project by getting Dallas’ fashionistas to open their check books at this rockin’ star studded event which will help Dallas by providing more green space for the current citizens and visitors of the downtown area, but will also will be enjoyed by generations to come.

The promotional materials for the event promised a combination of live music and a fashion runway show which would have certainly proven to be a night like no other. However, music at the event was actually provided by the exciting as ever, DJ Lucy Wrubel. She provided a monsterous mix which kept the evening moving at a breakneck pace. No harm, no foul.
