Apparently, this really did happen as an Alabama fan accosts an OU fan at the Sugar Bowl last night.

Aggies Win Over OU Gives Fox Big Ratings Win

All week, Bob Stoops kept insisting that playing A&M was like playing a Big 12 team — and not an SEC-style team. And sure enough, OU had as much trouble containing the Aggies Heisman Trophy winner as they did with Baylor’s RGIII.

Johnny Manziel dropped a bowl-record 516 total yards on the Sooners in a 41-13 Cotton Bowl win, and the freshman is also paying dividends off the field. A&M added another stellar receiver, four-star Florida native Tony Stevens, who picked the Aggies over Ohio State and Florida State. A&M’s recruiting class is now currently rated #6 in the nation.

But another important benefit from Manziel’s and the Aggies storybook season won’t be felt until next September. That’s when A&M will play more often in front of the network TV cameras.

Mack Brown Dreams He Forgot to Study for OU Game

San Antonio, Texas (AP) – Speaking to reporters at an Alamo Bowl press conference, University of Texas Football coach Mack Brown recounted a recent nightmare in which the coach neglected to prepare for the Longhorns’ annual football game with the Oklahoma Sooners. According to Brown, his anxiety-inducing dream began with an 11th-hour realization that he had scheduled a game with Texas’s archrival, but had forgotten to attend any team meetings or practices in preparation for the big game.

“In the dream, it was October and Sally and I were on a date at the State Fair,” reported Coach Brown. “There I was, eating a corndog and drinking a Nehi cola, when Carl Torbush walks up, hands me a jar full of spiders, and asks if I’m ready for the game. At first I thought ‘What game?’ Then it dawned on me — we had a big game with Oklahoma that day… and I forgot to study the gameplan!”

“Also, it’s weird, but that corndog wasn’t really a corndog,” added Brown. “I called it a ‘corndog,’ but it was really more like a big pancake that I had to eat with tongs.”

Fan Rage-Appropriate Content

Every so often during football season there are fans who resonate with us.  Yeah, those fans who are willing to call out high priced coaches, soft teams, and general average performance of highly recruited or highly paid athletes.

While this guy is a USC fan commenting on the beat down they received at the hand of rival UCLA, we thought that he embodied the feeling Longhorn fans have for Coach Brown after the tremendous and pathetic beat down from OU earlier this year.  Inexplicably, the Longhorns have a snowballs chance in hell to actually tie for the conference championship – a feat only possible because the Big 12 (10) is really average.
