Revenge never felt so good for Dylan Strome.

Dylan Strome may have just pulled off the pettiest move in all of hockey history.

First, let’s set the scene.

Strome, a center for the Erie Otters of the OHL, lost his stick to London Knights’ defenseman Brandon Crawley in the midst of gameplay. As in, Crawley took the stick right out of Strome’s hands after the defenseman lost his stick in a collision with the forward.

Strome spent seconds on the ice without a stick, all the while looking for a penalty from the referees on Crawley.

So, what was Strome to do? Pick up Crawley’s stick and use it of course.

Which then turned immediately into a goal.

And that celebration with the stick? A classic.

But, that’s not all. Strome had to give the stick back to Crawley, resulting in the most awkward and short stick exchange ever.

Talk about sweet, sweet revenge.
