Steve Jolley of SMU Athletics is stoked for tonight. “It’s going to be a beast,” he said of the TCU vs SMU game. “[TCU] is the highest ranked team to ever be in Ford Stadium.” All week, SMU students have been encouraged to “Red Out” the stadium and “Fill the Ford” in preparation for the Horned Frogs leaping on campus.

This season, SMU has won home games against UAB and Pac-10 team Washington State. Coach June Jones has pumped up Sophomore Quarterback Kyle Padron’s throwing arm to repeat his stellar performance from the Hawaii Bowl vs UNLV.

The boulevard opens at 3pm, and we suggest getting there early to park. Not only is this the biggest game Ford Stadium will see this year, it’s also SMU’s Parents Weekend, so prepare yourself for traffic moving slower than a snail stuck in molasses during a time warp. DFW, this is a showdown.

TCU vs. SMU is at 7pm tonight in Ford Stadium
