Trinity Hall Goes Green

Posted by    |    March 16th, 2012 at 2:00 pm

Before you jump on the DART to the Greenville Avenue Parade, celebrate St. Paddy’s Day at our favorite Irish pub Trinity Hall, which will keep its green flag flying all day long for patrons! From early morning rugby matches and traditional Irish breakfast offerings, to a lively array of Irish bands and a special appearance by the Dallas Firefighters Pipes & Drums. If it’s a real Irish party you’re looking for, you’re truly in luck!

A Taste of Savor Dallas, You+Dallas Style

Posted by    |    August 30th, 2010 at 7:06 pm

Tonight, we are excited to bring together the talented chefs, owners & GMs who represent the featured restaurants of Savor Dallas 2010. These culinary masters make our dining experiences divinely decadent, and they deserve a celebration. They keep us coming back meal after meal (after steak after spring roll after tiramisu). Yes, we will be eating, socializing, and celebrating; but we’ll also be sharing with them You+Dallas’ helpful tips to further engage their customers (that means you) in video & social media efforts (it’s kind of our thing).

Foodie Couture is in the house catering tonight and they are currently setting up shop in our kitchen. It smells so good, it’s worthy of my learning how to spell hors d’oeuvres. I may or may not be sneaking pieces of pre-assembled ahi tuna. Shh.

Care to see the menu? Hope you have a napkin close by because you’re about to experience a Wile E. Coyote jaw-dropping moment: (more…)

Posted by    |    August 24th, 2010 at 2:30 pm

The week is just getting started, but if you’re like most Dallasites, I bet you’re already planning a weekend of enjoying great food at the best restaurants in town. Need a little inspiration? That’s where we come in. This week, You+Dallas is featuring Al Biernat’s, Gina Lynn’s “see and be seen” restaurant. Known for their prime beef selection and ritzy atmosphere, Al Biernat’s has hosted a wealth of celebrities (recent favs: Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Angie Harmon). Now you can be seen there, too. Gina wants to know, what is your see and be seen restaurant? Be one of the first YPDinsiders to respond to Gina’s question by 2 PM this Friday and win a custom appetizer for you and a guest specially prepared by Executive Chef Michael Weinstein himself. Want to be seen this weekend? Get your answer on!
