Get Your Buzz On at All Hours of the Day

There are very few places that taste just as good at two in the afternoon as they do at 2AM, except maybe Taco Bell. But step up your game from your fast food favorite, and you’ll find yourself at Buzzbrews, the little pop art-covered haven of fresh food at frugal prices.

Focused mainly on breakfast, the menu has everything from pancakes to grinders. The menu is a little hard to navigate at first, bearing names like The Zinger or Mr. C, but it’s all part of the charm (I highly recommend the Hare Krishna: fluffy egg whites filled with avocado, cheese, and griddle tomatoes).

There’s a New Breakfast Sheriff in Grapevine

We tend to be a fairly skeptical family when it comes to most claims — “Best Dry Cleaner,” “Best Service,” “Biggest Selection” — we hear it all the time. So, when we ventured over to the new Original Pancake House in Grapevine, we were skeptical of claims that their pancakes would be truly remarkable.

Their location is a little hard to find, having moved into the former Denny’s location on William D. Tate (close to Hooters and Bone Daddy’s if that helps)  Upon arrival, we were greeted by everyone, including the owners, and the whole staff exuded enthusiasm including our server who wanted to know all our names (and remembered them through the whole meal).

In addition to a wide variety of pancakes, they boast two signature items: the Apple Pancake, a single large pancake smothered with sauteed apples and cinnamon sugar; and the “Dutch Baby.”
