“Almost sold out?!” MIXIN’ IT UP ON THE BOULEVARD is the one of the hottest food events in Dallas that you don’t want to miss! It’s an outdoor food, wine and spirits festival coming to Lee Park on May 6, 2012 hosted by Chefs For Farmers. The celebration will bring local farmers, chefs and purveyors together in Dallas, Texas. From 1PM to 5PM, patrons will enjoy bites by more than 30 of the area’s most talented chefs, sip on great wines and cocktails and listen to tracks spun by local DJs. In addition, event goers can visit and a pop-up farmers’ market featuring products by local artisans.
Some of the hottest chefs in town participating are Greg Bussey (Victor Tangos), Bruno Davillion (The Mansion on Turtle Creek), Dean Fearing (Fearing’s), Scott Gottlich & J Chastain (Bijoux and Second Floor), Dan Landsberg (Hotel ZaZa), Brian Luscher (The Grape), Matt McCallister (Co-Founder of Chefs for Farmers), Andre Natare (The Fairmont), Andrew Ormsby (Andrew Ormsby Catering and Southern Comforts), Stephan Pyles (Stephan Pyles and Samar), Kent Rathbun (Abacus, Jasper’s, Rathbun Blue Plate) Scott Romano, Abraham Salum (Salum and Komali), Blaine Staniford (Grace), John Tesar (The Commissary), Tre Wilcox (Marquee Grill) and more.
Tickets for MIXIN’ IT UP ON THE BOULEVARD are $100 for two tickets through February 21 and $60 per person after Feb. 21 at ALL of the Whole Foods Market locations in DFW or here. 100% of the proceeds from MIXIN’ IT UP ON THE BOULEVARD benefit Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County and Water for Chizavane.
