He has different personalities, different names, and different faces, but he is the same person: God. He is known as the creator, the one who threw the earth into existence, but why do people have strained relationship with him? Why do they think he will smite them whenever they do something bad?

I’ve always thought that God is kind of a grandfather type character; someone elderly with a long beard that cares for you unconditionally. While He is disappointed when one does bad things, He knows that you are not perfect and that is why He loves us. As it says in John 3:16, “for God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believed in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” Other books of worship like the Tanakh and the Quran also talk about God’s love for His people.

I believe that people should investigate their relationship with God and try to strengthen it. He created us because He loves us and we should give some of that love back. People also shouldn’t be scared about talking to God. He’s there to listen and help you as best as He can.
