Why does Charles want to make such an historic change?  Because Christianity has declined in the UK to 69 percent of the population, while those with no religion now make up 22 percent of the population.  If these trends continue, the number of people with no religion will surpass the number of Christians in Great Britain in 20 years.  In addition, the number of Muslims in the UK has grown by 37 percent, the Hindu population by 43 percent, and the Buddhist population by 74 percent.

Could such a trend occur in America?  Is it already happening here?
