Four Must Reads!
Here are 4 things I’m glad I saw this weekend. You may want to check them out…
- Former minister, Dan Bouchelle writes a piece called “Why are there so many angry minister’s wives?” The post is excellent, the comments are just as good. He’s obviously touched on a “hot” topic. I’m not sure how Lea feels about all of this, but I’m going to get her to read the article and then ask her.
- Jull Slatery has an excellent little article called, “Understanding your husband’s sexuality.” She states, “According to a poll of 150 Christian married men, 83 percent stated that they don’t believe that women understand a man’s sex drive.” This would be a great article to read and discuss with your spouse.
- “Society’s Invisible People” is a short, but powerful little article about the dignity and disconnect of the homeless. It’s a very good read with a challenging conclusion.
- I have never received roses as a gift, and I’m not sure I’d want to, BUT if I did, these would be the roses I’d want. YUM!
This week I have a handful of goodies lined up. We had an old-fashioned church potluck yesterday. You won’t BELIEVE the conversation that came up. Tomorrow we’ll talk about “The 10 Commandments of Church Potlucks.” Wednesday I’ll post an incredible story that took place at the dump in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
