  • We’ll we’ve officially kicked off our 2nd Augment Project in Childress. The extreme home makeover will become a big three-bedroom home for a family with two small children and twins on the way. We’re excited about this project and can’t wait to get this little family in their new house. I’ll post some more pictures later.
  • I spent most of last weekend in Tulsa at the Tulsa Workshop. It was so good getting to see old friends and make new ones. I got to sit in some great classes by great teachers. I was honored to get to present 3 lessons on marriage and family. They were a condensed version of the Strong Marriage Seminar that I do. It sure was fun. If you haven’t ever attended the Tulsa Workshop, consider it next year.
  • Man, I love my church family. Yesterday our entire contribution went to Japan Relief. $12,500 was collected to help our friends in Japan.
  • POWER HOUR … I can’t wait to tell you what we’re doing with our Sunday nights called Power Hour. Many have seen me make comments about it on my Facebook and have asked about it. We’ve basically removed the Sunday p.m. service we were having and replaced it with an upbeat bible study. Our attendance has almost doubled. I’m going to write something later this week explaining all the details.
