Join the OOCCL and Preservation Dallas to Tour Historic Church Restoration

Join Preservation Dallas and the Oak Cliff Conservation League at the 1929 Winnetka Congregational Church, now being revitalized as the Historic Church Restoration Project.  Architect T.J. Galbraith’s Gothic design is an alluring facet of the Winnetka Heights Historic District and its transition to a multi-use facility is a fascinating story you do not want to miss!

The Church is an active construction site and guests wearing high heels or open toed shoes will not be admitted.

Lot parking is available 410 South Windomere.

Public Meeting on Proposed Zoo Deck Park

Southern Gateway Deck Park meeting set for Aug. 30 at Dallas Zoo

 

What:             Dallas Park and Recreation invites the public to attend the first of two programming and visioning workshops to be held on the proposed Southern Gateway Deck Park. The proposed park will be adjacent to the Zoo at I-35.

 

A second public engagement meeting is tentatively scheduled for Sept. 20, in which alternatives for conceptual design will be presented and the community will be able to provide their input.
