Bike Friendly Oak Cliff is now on Instagram to share daily photos of local cycling advocacy issues, BFOC events, rides, and anything else that promotes cycling in our great city.  We hand over the account every two weeks or so to a different BFOC board member to give you a fresh perspective on everything cycling related in Oak Cliff and the surrounding areas.

Adamson vs. Sunset Pep Rally Returns to Bishop Arts

Posted by    |    August 22nd, 2014 at 1:40 pm

Calling all Alumni, Students, Faculty, Parents, and Neighbors! Join us as we celebrate the oldest rivalry in Dallas high school football!

We’ll kick off the Oak Cliff Super Bowl with an old fashioned pep rally at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 5th in the Bishop Arts District. Bring that school spirit and cheer for both schools! Root for the players! Shout with the cheer and dance teams! Groove to the marching bands!

This will be the 3rd year for this event, and each year gets bigger and better. Alumni travel from all around the state of Texas for this event, and we’ve even spotted an old baton routine being performed by some former Leopards! Think you don’t have a dog in the fight between Adamson and Sunset? Then just come enjoy the small town feel of having your two local high schools pitted against each other in the Big Game.285422_10151162443529441_863942578_n

Choose your favorit team and head on down to the Bishop Arts District on September 5th!

The W.H. Adamson Leopards will take on the Sunset Bison in the Oak Cliff Super Bowl at Kincaide Stadium on September 6th at 4:30 p.m.

Go Bison! Go Leopards!
