The Ft. Worth Avenue Development Group is sponsoring a ride with BFOC to the Western Heights Cemetery on Ft. Worth Avenue from the Bridge O’ Rama festival on March 4th, 2012.
Meet Up: At Beckley and Commerce
Time: 2:15 PM
Depart: 2:30 PM
Cemetery tour will begin at 3:00 PM. After the tour, we’ll ride to Bar Belmont for a drink

Jason Roberts on receiving Bike Texas award behalf BFOC. The staff at YouPlusDallas respects Jason Roberts for his contributions to Oak Cliff, to the Better Block, and to promoting a bike friendly Oak Cliff.Bike Friendly Oak Cliff was named Bicycle and Pedestrian Activist of the Year for our efforts to bring safer street to our city. Congressman Oberstar was on hand at the Texas Trails and Active Transportation Conference in San Antonio to present the award. Its a true honor to be recognized and we’re looking forward living in a more bike friendly Dallas. Thank you Bike Texas!

Get your costumes ready, bikes decorated, and ride with us in the 4th annual Oak Cliff Mardi Gras Parade on Sunday, February 19. Line-up begins at 3:30 p.m. at N. Montclair/7th street and rolls promptly at 4 p.m. BFOC is leading this family-friendly event on bikes as it heads down Davis for a super slow cruise into Bishop Arts. Everyone is invited to join us, even you! Don’t forget to bring beads/candy to toss to the crowds lining Davis. This is absolutely one of our favorite neighborhood events of the year and we hope you’ll come along for the ride. Petal Pushers bike valet is setting up in Bishop Arts for cyclists looking for a safe place to “lock up” pre/post parade. RSVP.
Want to get the party started earlier? The ultimate Sunday Funday kicks off at 2 p.m. with a crawfish boil and street party in the Bishop Arts. Show up and let the zydeco music, cajun food, and beer get you ready to parade it out!
