I tend to be picky when it comes to hamburgers.

Located on the corner of 8th St. & Bishop Ave.

Hunky’s, in the Bishop Arts District is hands down my favorite hamburger in Dallas. The old fashioned diner is a great, family friendly atmosphere as well.

Hunky’s features “Hot Off The Grill” 50′s style burgers made with hand-formed fresh ground beef. They offer over fifteen varieties of beef burgers. Want something else? No problem, they also serve fresh ground turkey burgers, veggie burgers, all beef hot dogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, salads and many other styles of sandwiches.

Not to mention they serve fabulous cakes, Blue Bell milkshakes, hand-battered onion rings and crispy tater tots. This is a restaurant that will not leave you disappointed. Truly my favorite in the area!

  1. I could not agree more. Come at 11:30 am or 1 pm to miss the long line that forms most days around noon.
