There is a famous drink in Downtown Dallas, at City Tavern, named after one of my closest friends, Dusty. Or at least that is what we tell all of our out-of-town friends that come visit.
The story behind the name is no more interesting than the fib I just told you. In fact, a better-suited name for the Dirty Dusty, would be “No, NO I DO NOT WANT THAT.”
What is a Dirty Dusty? It’s a great way to start your night when downtown. It’s a must to make any friend who visits, or who hasn’t tried one, take one, a ritual if you will. It’s the two words you will hate most the next day. “I don’t remember much after that….Dirty Dusty.”
