Everyone loves having fun while supporting a good cause and TASTE, happening this Saturday, March 2nd in the Design District, is going to help you do just that.

TASTE is the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce’s (DJCC) annual fundraiser and benefit and this year it is happening right here in the neighborhood at Samuel Lynne Galleries.

TASTE is what the DJCC refers to as a “charitable wine tasting.” This year ticketed attendees will be able to taste over 15 premiere wines from around the world while snacking on light hors d’oeuvres, bidding in the silent auction and enjoying the beautiful art in the galleries.

[Dallas, Texas – January 17, 2013]—Dallas-based artist Lucrecia Waggoner is gearing up to unveil her latest exhibition at Samuel Lynne Galleries. Entitled Expressions of Nature, the show will kick off with a premier artist reception on Saturday, February 23rd from 5 to 9 p.m. This will be Lucrecia’s third exhibit at Samuel Lynne Galleries, following two nearly sold-out shows in 2011 and 2012.

Lucrecia integrates elements of nature in both large-scale and small installation pieces inspired by global cultures, the scenic landscapes of Texas and Mexico, and the celestial atmosphere of the night sky.  From her conceptual installations that conjure up images of roadside wildflowers, to the contemporary exploration of shapes and color in her organic forms, Lucrecia’s art continues to evolve.

Last night, Samuel Lynne Galleries hosted “Design on Dragon Street” featuring the work of spectacular artists JD Miller, JuanLuis Gonzalez, and Philip J. Romano. Sponsored by FD Luxe, these brilliant creatives showcased their work to a mesmerized audience.

This event was so popular that JD Miller’s “California Dreamin’” exhibition will be extended through the month of November, with a live performance occurring next Saturday, November 20 from 6-9PM. Head to Dragon Street to see this talented artist create his signature 3-D oil paintings in person.
