According to D Magazine, Nick Badovinus, the popular restauranteur behind Off Site Kitchen and Neighborhood Services, recently announced his plans to open a new restaurant at 1617 Irving Blvd., Town Hearth.

The restaurant will center around seafood and steaks cooked on open, wood-fire grills, and will also feature a raw bar and whole-roasted Dungeness crab and shellfish. As far as drinks go, Town Hearth will have a full bar stocked with domestic brown liquors and an extensive wine list with old and new-world burgundies as well as wines from the Northwest.

The new restaurant is scheduled to open in March 2015.

In addition to Badovinus’ new concept, the entire “triangle” area at Oak Lawn, Riverfront, and Market Center that currently houses Jack’s Grocery is getting a full makeover. Hear more about the redevelopment at next Tuesday’s meeting at 101 Turtle Creek Blvd., from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.
