Design District Market Takes Over Cole Street Next Thursday

The blog, Jim Lake Companies, and Deep Ellum Outdoor Market are teaming up to bring a market to the streets of the Design District. We’ll be closing off Cole Street to make way for food trucks, street vendors, live music, local beer, and plenty of activities.

You can stop by the food pavilion to nosh on treats from Easy Slider Truck, Belgian Waffle Co., Bombay Chopstix, Tutta’s Pizza, Eat Jo Dawgs, The Butcher’s Son, and Rockstar Bakeshop, then grab a beer from one of the La Grange pop-up bars. They’ll be serving local brews from Peticolas, Lakewood, Revolver, Rahr and Deep Ellum Brewing Companies, and Denton-based Armadillo Ale Works will offer their homemade Lemon Soda Pop and Ginger Cream Ale.

A plethora of Dallas vendors will be lined up down the street, so come ready to shop! Make sure you stop by the booths of local Design Districters f. is for frank, GrassRoots Design, The Wooden House, Top Drawer Interiors and EGallery Studios, as well as favorites like Dowdy Studio, Durty Laundry, Hari Mari,and Rapid City Vintage.

The music lineup will start with Jaw, a young Dallas alternative rock band, followed by electro-pop group ZHORA, folk rockers Danny Rush and the Designated Drivers, and pop violinist Daniel Hart.

We’ll also have yard games, a pet area, and other surprises.
