Richwoods Development in Frisco plans to build $10 Million dollar amenity center

It never happens in new construction in North Texas, but in June of 2012 in Frisco . . . jaws will drop.

The hottest community in DFW, Richwoods in Frisco, plans to build an amenity center before they start the second set of homes! This is another reason that explains the pent up demand for the location and record breaking sales for Landon Homes in 2012.

The community is located north of 121 in Frisco between Coit and Independence. Roger Lawler, former owner of the Lawler Tract that consists of over 800 total acrea, decided that after he handled his dispute in the courts over a contract gone bad to let it go. And John Landon was the fortunate man to take on the project with his development company Landon Development.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with John, lets just say Meritage Homes. He was responsible for taking the company public and in the past couple years went out on his own and started Landon Homes. (more…)

Lawler Park in Frisco to offer residents easy access to city park

Lawler Park in Frisco will connect community over white rock creek and extend path to Harold Bacchus Park in Frisco.

One of the most anticipated new home communities in Frisco Lawler Park, plans to start models in October of 2012.  The two builders Darling Homes and Highland Homes are just as excited about this community as all of the calls that I am receiving for more information.

A highlight of the community is the connecting path to Harold Bacchus Community Park on Main and Independence.  Phase I is complete, with the grand opening of a youth baseball/softball five-plex, including the Rusty Greer/Texas Rangers Championship Field and the Frisco Miracle League Field, a concession and restroom facility, and several football/soccer multipurpose fields, landscaping, parking and adjacent thoroughfare improvements. Phase II is complete and features the ‘On Deck Circle’ which includes batting cages and tunnels, twelve acres for football/soccer multipurpose fields, two restroom & concession facilities, a signature playground with a picnic pavilion, three additional playgrounds, a two-acre lake and approximately one mile of hike & bike trails.

This will be an unbelievable opportunity for  Lawler Park residents to have such easy access to all of the sports fields.

But remember about the new West Frisco development Phillips Creek Ranch, it will also be one community to put in the mix!
