Construction on Klyde Warren Park seemed like it might simply become an omnipresent part of our lives. It’s hard to believe that you’ll finally be able to bring your dog and your yoga mat to the incredible deck park this weekend. If you weren’t quick enough to snag a free ticket to the Concert for Dallas you can still get one here. You have to pay for it, but hey, it’s reserved and it’s a small price to pay to be present at this monumental opening.
The two-day Grand Opening of Dallas’ new 5.2-acre park adjacent to the Arts District includes a ribbon cutting ceremony, an outdoor performance by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, sneak peeks at the Park’s ongoing programming and a Saturday night signature concert entitled “The Concert for Dallas Presented by Deloitte.”
A grand opening this heavily anticipated can be overwhelming, so we’ve broken it down so you can start your planning and start preparing yourself to finally see honorary chair Owen Wilson in person.
