The year has been flying by and soon the Perot Museum of Nature and Science‘s Dinner in the Wild gala will be upon us. The gala will be held at Fair Park’s Automobile Building on November 17.
Event co-chairs Christie and Frank Scardino announced the theme for this year, “Night at the Museum”.
Honorary chairs of the Dinner in the Wild gala are Margot and Ross Perot.
The two donating companies will be recognized as co-sponsors of the Dinner in the Wild 2011 gala. Thanks to these companies, the museum has raised $170 million dollars, which isn’t too far from their goal of $185 million.
The donations will go towards funding for site acquisition, exhibition planning and design, new building construction, and education programs.
The Perot Museum is located on a 4.7-acre site at the northwest corner of Woodall Rogers Freeway and Field Street in Victory Park. The structure is set to open early 2013.
