Gaga Phenomena

Posted by    |    June 23rd, 2010 at 9:00 pm

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta will make her dramatic, flamboyant, and inevitably pantless entrance on the Dallas scene this summer at Victory Park’s American Airlines Center. Better recognized as the glitzy, scantily clad pop-music sensation Lady Gaga, the lucky ticket holders are in for a performance that will surely exceed their wildest expectations. Attendees are guaranteed an uncanny amount of costume changes, and an electronic pop-dance performance fused with dramatic piano ballads. Fanatics, brace yourself on July 22 AND 23 (they had to book two nights due to the ferocious demand of her Dallasite following) for her innovative performance.

Lady Gaga has had two multimillion-selling albums, The Fame in 2008 and The Fame Monster in 2009, and six Top 10 pop singles, including the chart-toppers “Just Dance” and “Poker Face.” The international pop star hits Dallas on the heels of her sold-out European tour, to grace us with her dazzling presence. Hold on to your fishnets Dallas, the only thing left to find out…What will she WEAR?

Viva Neo Pizza Napoletana

The owner of Olivella’s critically acclaimed pizzeria in Snider Plaza has overcome an obstacle in its life that many find to be the cause of deep-seated anger and patience issues: parking.

While we adore Olivella’s incredibly personal and unique atmosphere filled to the brim with scrumptiously authentic thin crust pizza, battling the lunch crowd in Snider Plaza is a defeating quest. The tiny restaurant is less than 900 square feet and only seats about 30. Thankfully, owner Charlie Green has expanded his vision of “Italianicity” into Victory Park with his new Neo Pizza Napoletana restaurant. Bravo Mr. Green! Now we can all breathe a sigh of relief in our cars as we speed down Hillcrest past everyone cramming into Goff’s and Chick-fil-A and head down to our free parking lot at Neo’s….too bad you all didn’t get the memo on youplusdallas! Reporter Annie Potasznik has more here.
