Notice that I said, “trust” not love. Love is something that generally happens after trust is established, but how quickly do you take that leap of faith? I’m interested in this topic because, traditionally, I’m on the naive end of the “trust spectrum,” but as I get older and have more life experiences, I notice that when I trust has changed significantly.
In society today, people are more connected than ever-Facebook, Twitter, Texting, and Instant Messaging to name a few. However, they are also more disconnected on an interpersonal basis than ever. Often times this can lead to a disconnect when evaluating a person’s trustworthiness.
