“Ten Years from now I will be able to order an alcoholic drink at a restaurant, Dad! How will that make you feel?” I remember saying to my dad many times when I was 10 years old. “It’ll make me feel old,” was his reply.
“Ten years from now I’ll be about to graduate college, I’ll be ready to start my own job, I’ll be older and wiser. Ten years from now I’ll be the perfect age.” Still my 10-year-old self speaking.
Well, It’s been ten years and here I am asking myself the very same question again, “Where will I be ten years from now?”
This is my life prediction, although we all know how rarely our “x number of year plans” work out.
Ten years from now I hope to have at least these three things happen in my life:
- I hope to be happily married and more in love with my husband than I was when we first started dating. I put an emphasis on “happily“ because a lot of people can be married without actually enjoying it.
- I hope that my parents and siblings are alive and healthy. I hope our relationships with one another are stronger than ever before.
- I hope that I am financially stable enough to travel around the world since traveling is one of my passions.
I only said three because I figured more was getting a little greedy.
Now it’s your turn. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
